Frequently Asked Questions For Veterans
1
How do I schedule an appointment?
Upon receiving a VA referral the Integrity Health’s schedulers will contact the Veteran to arrange for the initial evaluation. During this evaluation the therapist assess the Veteran presenting problems and establishing treatment goals.
2
What happens if a veteran wants to receive additional visits or increased time beyond what was requested on original referral?
Under the Community Care Network guidelines, the Veteran must consult with their doctor and have a referral request for care beyond what is included on the original referral. The referral request will be reviewed by VA and if appropriate, a new referral will be issued.
3
Does Integrity Health provide or make recommendations for medication?
Integrity Health does not prescribe or make recommendation for medication. Our focus is to induce the body’s natural pain-relieving mechanism through manual manipulations of muscles, tendons and connective tissues.
4
Is Integrity Health part of the effort to privatize the Veteran health care?
Integrity Health LLC recognizes and supports the need for a robust and strong Veteran health care system. Integrity Health LLC seeks to complement existing Veteran health care services by providing Veteran increased choice and access to timely alternative health care in their community.
